A Leaner and More Agile Company 


To achieve  superior operational performance, in 2012, Gafisa began to strategically rebalance its geographic scope of activities and opted to concentrate its developments in its target markets, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, which in 2013 represented 43% of Brazil’s GDP.

In 2013 Gafisa completed the sale of a majority stake (70%) of Alphaville Urbanismo SA ("Alphaville") and in early 2017, the company spun-off the entirety of Constructora Tenda SA (Tenda), a company focused on the development of low income residential properties.

Having completed the two transactions, Gafisa will now be able to focus on its target markets with a leaner and more agile operating structure.  It will continue to  provide the market with the quality and confidence built over more than 60 years of experience in Brazil's real estate market.
